The Pocket Ratchet Winch & Rope kit is the perfect lifting aid when performing “suspended-gralloch’s” on small to medium sized deer (Muntjac to small Fallow).
Just hang an S-Hook or loop of rope on a tree branch and attached the carabiner/winch casing – clip a gambrel/folding gambrel on to the rope end carabiner and pull the rope to lift the beast to an acceptable height – to release just press the winch release lever whilst taking some tension on the rope to lower gently.
