Thermal targets are essential for zeroing thermal scopes because, unlike traditional optics, thermal devices detect heat signatures, not visible light or ink on paper. A thermal target creates a high-contrast, glowing, or “cold” spot that is clearly visible against the environment, enabling precise identification of the aiming point and bullet impacts – the RIX Thermal Targets are the ideal solution to maximising the thermal scope zeroing procedures.
